We’ve been waiting for you! It’s true, because we believe that every person who comes through our doors was sent by God Himself. It’s not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you today. So, above all else we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We are eager to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church!

It won’t take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you, as well. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too. Our Story

Welcome to Celebration Church, a vibrant, non-denominational church located in the heart of Des Moines, Iowa. Since our founding in 2007, we have been committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for people from all walks of life. Whether you're new to the area or have lived here for years, we invite you to join us in a journey of faith, community, and spiritual growth.

At Celebration Church, our mission is simple: to provide a safe environment where individuals of all backgrounds can come together to celebrate faith and spirituality. We believe that everyone is on a unique journey, and we strive to offer an open and non-judgmental atmosphere where you can explore your beliefs, grow in your relationship with God, and experience the love and grace that make life truly transformative.

Led by Pastor Betty Waterman, Celebration Church has been a place where spiritual renewal happens, where people find deeper meaning in their lives, and where individuals are inspired to live out their purpose in their everyday actions. Pastor Betty’s vision for the church has always been to create a church family where people are not only supported spiritually but also encouraged to be active members of their community.

Our worship services are at the core of who we are. We specialize in offering a diverse and uplifting worship experience that speaks to people from various backgrounds and life experiences. Our services are designed to inspire, uplift, and challenge you to grow in your faith. With a blend of contemporary worship music, engaging sermons, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, our goal is to create an environment where you feel inspired to connect with God and with others.

Beyond our worship services, Celebration Church offers a wide variety of programs and events to help you grow in your faith and build lasting relationships. From small group Bible studies, children’s ministries, and youth programs to special events and outreach initiatives, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals and families to connect, grow, and serve together. We understand that faith is not just about Sunday mornings—it’s about living out our beliefs every day and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs.

We also believe in making a positive impact in our community.
